In Your Arms Again

I sent a little child to you
from heaven here above.
She’s so special I chose you
because of your great love.

You cared for her and loved her
with a love much like my own.
and now your heart is breaking
because I’ve called her home.

Special spirits sent to earth
are so perfect and so pure,
trials and pain and suffering,
are not theirs to endure.

I lent her to you for a time
and you fulfilled your part.
If you will put all faith in me
I’ll mend your broken heart.

She’s here with Me, and waiting
for the day I call your name.
For when, in time, I call for you
she’ll be in your arms again.
